Notre Dame de Sion (Religious of Our Lady of Sion)
This Tuesday, June 25, the Superior General of the Congregation of Religious of Sion, Father José Maria Leite Nds, was received in the audience by the Archbishop of Paris, Dom Laurent Bernard Marie Ulrich.
The audience aimed to present the Congregation and its apostolic works to the Archbishop, taking into account in particular the historical importance that the Archdiocese of Paris has for the history of the Congregation of Sion.
It was an archbishop of Paris, Dom Marie-Doninique Auguste Sibour, who approved the first Constitutions of the Notre Dame de Sion (Religious of Sion) in 1855, at the request of Father Théodoro Ratisbonne Nds himself. It should be noted that the Mother House of the Religious of Sion is located in the city of Paris. During this Tuesday’s audience, the Superior General was accompanied by brothers Br. Joel Nds and Fr. Cristiano Nds.
Ce mardi 25 juin, le Supérieur général de la Congrégation des religieux de Sion, le Père José Maria Leite Nds, a été reçu en audience par l’archevêque de Paris, Dom Laurent Bernard Marie Ulrich.
Le but de l’audience était de présenter la Congrégation et ses œuvres apostoliques à l’Archevêque, en tenant compte notamment de l’importance historique que l’archidiocèse de Paris a pour l’histoire de la Congrégation de Sion.
C’est un archevêque de Paris, Dom Marie-Doninique Auguste Sibour, qui approuva les premières Constitutions des Religieux de Sion en 1855, à la demande du Père Théodoro Ratisbonne lui-même. A noter que la Maison Mère des Religieuses de Sion est située dans la ville de Paris. Lors de l’audience de ce mardi, le Supérieur général était accompagné des frères Fr. Joel Nds et Fr. Cristiano Nds
